We've been running some tests. We create a text file. Make a copy. Change the name slightly... like "test1.txt" and "test2.txt". Both text files are totally identical exept for the filename. We drop both into a folder and Watch creates two PDF files from the test files. The two PDF files look identical, have the same number of pages, etc. But, the file size of the first PDF is 722,234 bytes but the second PDF is 680,352 bytes. Why would the file size fluctuate? I would assume that the PDF file would always be the same if it is generated from the same data file?

Thanks,
Brandon

BWW,

Are you 100% Sure they are identical? Are you sure there is nothing in the document that indicates the time, perhaps, that may change from one to another?

The best thing to do would be to do a file comparison of both PDFs and see what changed - PDF Files are text files after all, editable using NotePad, and any "compare" software should be able to see the difference between both.

Let us know what you find...
Eric.
