We've got a flow that uses Digital Action to turn a xml file into a jpg which works fine. Unfortunately this file is sent externally to software that only accepts BMP files so I have a script and a command line program to convert jpg -> bmp solely for the job to continue. This is not very efficient or quick.

Is there a better way, any job that will create a bmp directly?

Unfortunately, our tools do not natively create bmp files. The image formats we can create are tiff, jpeg and pdf. Scripts or external programs will be needed to create bmp files, like what you are doing right now.

I see in the "PlanetPress Watch Plug-ins" section of the ObjectIf Lune website there is an "Image Converter" plugin which can create BMP files.

Its not listed against version 7 and I can't get it to work. (ERROR: Image Transform: W1626 : Plugin Image Transform failed: Unknown exception while processing.)

Is there anyway to get this updated for version 7 or get the source code for it?
