kaarthik,

To remove a watermark you need to output the postscript through a licensed RIP. PlanetPress Image is one, of course. Another would be to have PlanetPress Production and to send the optimized postscript stream through a printer queue.

There is no way to remove a watermark from a postscript file we generate other than to output to a licensed RIP.

Can you please tell explain me "send the optimized postscript stream through a printer queue" will this option convert a PS with water mark to one without a water mark ? Also we do have a licensed PlanetPress Production.

Actually, what that means is that instead of creating a PostScript, you should be printing instead.

Is there a reason why you need to generate an actual postscript, instead of using a Printer Queue and sending your job to it using a Printer Queue output directly?

We are planning to give our clients a PS file that will speed up certain process in their end. Currently we give them a pdf file which of course we generate using PS passed through planetpress image.

Any suggestions on how i can give them a PS file without the water mark ?

kaarthik,

That's not possible actually. As I said PlanetPress can only send jobs to printers it's licensed for. If you want to print at your client's location using PostScript, then you would need to purchase a licence for their printed, send them the PlanetPress Design as a postscript file to install on the printer, and then send them the data file with an appropriate trigger.

This involves costs (the licence) and technical implementation (installing the document).

Alternatively, they would have to purchase their own PlanetPress Suite licence, or you would have to purchase it for them.
